Blue Smoke

This American restaurant on 27th Between Park and Lexington Avenue is a very good barbeque. It has very moist, tender meat and mashed potatoes to die for!!! Although it has very decadent meal options, it is a very heavy meal and should be for a early or average-timed dinner.

Carl's Philly Cheesestakes

Located on 33rd and 3rd, this cramped little restaurant is serving some cheesy steak sandwiches. Not impressed at all by Carl's. The steak, although thin the way I like it, was chewy. The cheese to steak ratio was way off. The mushrooms on it where thick and mushy. The only thing I liked where the fries, not to greasy but yet hot and full of flavor. Between the service (which isn't the best) and the food, I say this place isn't worth it.

The Pointe

Located in Captiva, Florida in the South Seas Resort, the Pointe is a disappointment. Although quick service and pleasant display, the food isn't all great. The meat was all dry and chewy, the salad's were dull, and the only thing really keeping this place alive is the very nice people.
